That alone should explain the wine.
I've always been a people person. The one who talks to strangers, remembers everyone's name, and genuinely believes the best moments in life happen around a table. Then COVID hit. The tables disappeared. So I did what any reasonable person would do . I went deep into the bottles. I bought the wines. Took the courses. Earned my WSET Level 2.
Then there was tequila. Honestly, I've always loved it. But I kept hearing the same story from people — bad experiences, rough nights, saying they'd never drink it again. And I'd had those nights too. But then it hit me. My bad experience wasn't because tequila was bad. It was because I had bad tequila. There's a difference, and it matters.
So I went to Guadalajara. To Tequila itself. Walked the agave fields. Visited the distilleries. Had private tastings that showed me exactly how the spirit is made, stage by stage. I got to speak with the producers, the people actually making it, and taste the product as it moves through production. That's when it all clicked into place. I left completely changed about the spirit. Came home and earned my ITA Tequila Sommelier certification.
Then Champagne. Because Champagne is the spirit of celebration. It's what people reach for when something matters. New Year's Eve. Weddings. Promotions. Milestones. It's the one bottle that shows up for every moment worth toasting. And once you understand the story behind what's in that glass, you don't just drink it. You celebrate with it.
Three certifications. One mission. Make it accessible, make it fun, and give people a real reason to gather.
The best tastings leave you with three things. A full glass, a new perspective, and a new number in your phone.
